My little Friends :)

“We'll be Friends Forever, won't we, Pooh?' asked Piglet.

Even longer,' Pooh answered.”
A.A. Milne, Winnie-the -Pooth

When Maria was still some 7-8 months I could notice how much she adored little children. When we met adults in the street there was not reaction , but every time a child , baby passed by, she smiled and made quick movements as if wishing to run and play. With every month she showed more interest and enthusiasm about little kids. Not at the age of 1 year and 10 months I stop every moment when we see a child in the street or in the shop or wherever Maria goes. Every time she goes to the baby and hugs her, kisses her and starts talking in a ""Marian language' which is a mix of Armenian and some alien baby language:) So my baby has lots of friends.
One of her best friends is Mesropik who is living next to our building. He and Maria are the same age, three days of difference and they actually grew up together. They became knowing each other at 8-9 months and since then call each other even from far away when we adults do not see. We have made some photo-sessions for them outside. They just adore running one after another in this uneven streets.

Maria got friends in Dubai as well. We met a wonderful Armenian family there who had great kids! Maria loved them very much. Even months after our arrival she was still repeating Mery, the little girl's name.

Ability to make friendship is very important and it should be developed starting from early childhood when the socialization process is starting. Such traits as kindness, responsibility, willingness to help others and generosity should be appreciated thus helping the child to nurture the same traits in himself/herself, thus appreciating the same in the others. I just love when Maria is sharing her toys with her friends, she is hugging a child when the latter is crying, she loves playing with strange kids. I suppose Maria is going to have an a friendly and easy-going character.
