Growing Older

My baby was growing older day by day. We were celebrating every month her birthday. When she was turning three months we took her to a kids cafe. Though she didnt quite understand we were happy, smiling, trying to depict on our faces her amusement.

Cutie Maria went with us to a variety of places starting from restaurants to shopping.

Welcoming the Sista

Soon after Maria was 52 days old, her sista, uncle's daughter was born. Has, was the first name Maria said. They are growing up together and we can always see the love with which they hug and kiss each other:) While sleeping Maria is often pronouncing Has:D so funny! Such great love in such small body:)

Maria and Has on their Grandpa's Birthday

I should remember and put one of the pictures when the are hugging and kissing each other. Maria and Has started talking together. Maria's first firm steps were when she was 10 months old. One day she stood up alone and made 3 small steps:D

When starting this blog, I decided to put more info and less pictures here. But now I realize that its a shame not to put these brilliant memories here, cuz those mostly visiting here will be happy and interested to see these beautiful and cute kids growing up.

They are to become two in some months but still adore playing with each other. As for development milestones they gone hand in hand, though there is still some age difference between them.

Maria's Development

Motherhood is a great honor and privilege, yet it is also synonymous with servanthood. Every day women are called upon to selflessly meet the needs of their families. Whether they are awake at night nursing a baby, spending their time and money on less-than-grateful teenagers, or preparing meals, moms continuously put others before themselves.

Doctors and 'old people' (meaning parents, grandparents) claim that breastfeeding is essential for baby development. Well, I did the way doctors said and breastfed Maria up to one year, simultaneously with that beginning from 6 months I gave Maria Formula and introduced purees. Formula was mostly  Nestle. I simultaneously used Formula so that Maria gained weight quickly (though no use:( she is still sooooooo slim).

Starting from 7 months Maria started eating different kinds of meat soups. She mostly likes chicken and of course potatoes:) I advice all Moms breastfeeding introduce fruits and vegetables starting from 6 months as
I did. Of course milk is important but living vitamins are so healthy for the growing organisms. Starting eating solid food was a challenge for us, because Maria used to eat either via bottle or puree. When at their home , my Mom started giving her solid food, but I was not consistent in that. Even the baby formula she drank through bottle. After 1 year when she had around 6-7 teeth (Maria had her first teeth at 11 months) she started eating solid food. What a great amusement. I was so happy. I tried to give her macaroni in her hands and she used to eat them independently:)
