I truely think that socialization is very important for children, the earlier, the better! Thats why for my Mariya I tried to choose a kindergarden to study. Though she attends it not every day, the change is visible. We became more organized , developed such skills as team work, responsibility and she became very independent. I just love the change in her. What can a socium do to a person! amazing. What I like most in the kindergarden is that they are led by the Montessori method. Ive read about Maria Montessori and know that she worked with her methods with sick kids who latershowed unbelievable results. So in our kindergarden thay believe if they work with such methods with normal kids, they would develop the best traits and qualities in themselves. So, they give way to creativity and personality development according to the strengths of the kids. What is more interesting and everyone gets surprised at it , is that kids there sit at the table during breakfast, lunch and dinner and serve themselves, they choose from the dishes and the portions they choose themselves. This is so great I think. Some 3,4,5 year old kids , but already behave like adults!
But of course we have lots of challenges in this new environment. First, is the language which we are still in the process of learning and sometimes it creates obstacles in communicating. Second , is the fact not being Russian, cuz even kids (I am surprised to notice it) feel some difference. Third, is the few number of days that we attend the kindergarden. however i am sure we will be ablt to overcome these obstacles :)!
And now last but not least- the baby boy!! his name is Dima :DDDD My little angel calls a handsome mal'chik Dima. This is our secret! and we're not gonna tell it anyone. My angel, my world, how much I love you! We look forward to playing with Dima! :)))
